I'm a Multidisciplinary UX Designer based in Kansas City, Missouri. When I'm not reducing frustration through functional UX, I spend time with my wife and four pets. I also write and draw a comic book with my wife. You can check that out here.
After a four year stint in the military during the first Gulf War, I came back to KC and initially studied Journalism in junior college. Art and design were always calling, eventually leading me to study graphic design at the Kansas City Art Institute, where I met my wife.
After one web design class, I was hooked, and I worked in Advertising for the next 7 years. Growing bored with solving the graphic problems, I moved on to UX design in 2007. I've been fascinated with it ever since.
